Starting Next Week
Ascendly proudly announces online classes for students. Use your own LEGO® bricks, or purchase the base kit that we use in all of our classes. The kit is available for purchase during the registration process. Visit the Registration Page to register for classes. You can also learn about our worthwhile referral program.
Online LEGO® Classes…
These classes are all online LEGO® classes with live instructors. As the year progress, we’ll add our non-LEGO® classes to our online catalog. You can sign up for our newsletter below to be notified when more classes are added.

Towers, Bridges, and Castles with LEGO® Bricks
A Jr. Structural Engineering Course
Become a junior builder and make amazing LEGO® creations! You will learn core structural engineering concepts while building cool creations like towers, bridges and castles. There are no instruction booklets in this class – you will use your imagination to build these structures while learning the engineering behind them. So while your buildings will look cool on the outside, they will be rock-solid on the inside, ready to withstand an onslaught from earthquakes, boulders, and even hurricanes.
LEGO® Engineering Challenges
Build, Tilt, and Bend with LEGO®
A Sr. Structural Engineering Course
Beyond junior LEGO®, get ready for the big LEGO® challenges. Bring your hard-core creative juices and move beyond the square world of traditional LEGO® bricks. This isn’t about structures, nor LEGO® bricks, it’s about a way of thinking Each lesson teaches critical thinking, brainstorming, planning, testing, and refining – but then move beyond a square world as you tilt, turn, roll, and twist your creations.
LEGO® Engineering: Creative Construction Series
Explore your creativity by building more of the most famous buildings in the world. Pick out the best parts of each structure and create them using LEGO® bricks. Learn to use pieces in unconventional ways while building great masterpieces. Meet the challenges presented each week while placing your own creative stamp on them. This isn’t about following LEGO® instruction booklets, it’s about building awesome creations and sharing them with friends.
These classes are not sequential. Each class covers a different grouping of buildings from around the globe. They encourage kids to take a second look at these structures, noticing the thought and attention that went into the details of the construction.
Creative Engineering: LEGO® Pyramids, Robots, and More
Learn to use LEGO® pieces in unconventional ways while building great masterpieces. Construct buildings shaped like animals, robots and pyramids. Work together to build the Great Wall of China. Create an upside-down house. Meet the challenges presented each week while placing your own creative stamp on them.
Creative Engineering: LEGO Eiffel Tower, Castles, and More
Explore your creativity by building more of the most famous buildings in the world. Pick out the best parts of each structure and create them using LEGO® bricks. Construct the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Jefferson Arch and the Hollywood Sign. Bring the Neuschwanstein Castle and the Eiffel Tower to life. Meet the challenges presented each week while placing your own creative stamp on them.
Creative Engineering: LEGO® Taj Majal, White House, Big Ben, and More
Continue your exploration of famous structures around the world. Famous Buildings of the World III visits the Taj Mahal in Agra, learning about how to construct domes and curved walls with LEGO® bricks. Drop in on the White House in Washington D.C., stop over and see Big Ben in London. Pay a visit to the Colosseum in Rome. Pick out the best parts of each structure and create them using LEGO® bricks. This isn’t about following LEGO® instruction booklets, it’s about building awesome creations and sharing them with friends.
Creative Engineering: LEGO Louvre, Famous Houses, and More
Discover more fabulous structures around the world. Famous Buildings of the World IV will explore treasures here in the US as well as all over the globe. Construct the Statue of Liberty. Craft the Awakening Sculpture. Design your own version of Falling Water. Fashion the pyramid of the Louvre. The challenges in this class lead to inspirational building. Meet the challenges presented each week with LEGO® bricks while placing your own creative stamp on them.
Camp vs. Class?
Online Virtual Camps are three hour blocks of engineering instruction that meet every day for a week. They include activities around the house or room to keep kids moving and engaged (since three hours would be too long to not move around!).
Online Classes meeting for one hour at a time, usually twice a week, and focus on a single engineering topic.
Both types of activities are great ways to engage your young engineer and the right choice should be driven by schedules and learning styles.
